Disclaimer & assumption of risk

It's a fun run

The ERNIEs Australia Day Front Yard Ultra is a casual, community fun run organised by The Ernies run club. It is not a professionally managed or medically supported ultramarathon event.

You run at your own risk

By registering, you acknowledge that participation is entirely at your own risk. Running — especially over long or repeated distances, overnight, or in the dark — carries inherent risks including but not limited to injury, dehydration, fatigue, and traffic hazards along the course. The Ernies, the run director, and event volunteers accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation.

You're responsible for your own fitness

By registering, you confirm that you believe yourself to be medically fit and adequately trained to safely complete the distance you have chosen. If you have any pre-existing medical condition that could affect your ability to run safely, you should consult a doctor before taking part, and should make the run director aware on the day.

You'll follow the run director's directions

By registering, you agree to abide by the directions of the run director and event volunteers at all times, including any decision to modify, pause, or stop the event (or your participation in it) for safety reasons.

Your details

The contact and emergency contact details you provide when registering are collected solely for the safe running of this event, and will only be used to contact you or your emergency contact if needed.
